Rowan Creative started life in the summer of 2001 with the launch of two ventures: Rowan Research, (a project carrying out online research for people who had limited access to, or knowledge of the Internet), and Textcorrector (a literary service, providing either re-writes of existing web site text, or the creation of brand new text).These ventures were largely an extension of voluntary work, carried out for small charities.

In 2009 these projects were drawn together, along with a selection of new services, including event, promotional and fine art photography, and re-launched under the name of Rowan Creative, in order to bring everything under one umbrella.

Researching and preparing documentation for inclusion in an application to the Radio Authority, to upgrade an independent rock radio station's status, from a Restricted Service Licence to a full regional licence.

Writing a guide to the Internet, for inclusion in a funding bid for a project which promoted the use of the Internet as a public consultation tool.

Creation and administration of web sites and Myspace profiles for record labels, music artists, and live music venues.

Writing commissioned biographies, web site text content, and promotional literature for companies, bands and individuals.

Commission of photographs for musical artists and environmental charities.
